“I’m inspired by our ancestral instinct to first look to plants for solutions to ailments. The healing possibilities, complex shapes, and resilience of plants are a great catalyst for my art. I’m fascinated by the shared forms between humans, flora and fauna. In my work I look to highlight these intersections as well as all the unique patterns created by our plant siblings.”

“I also look to pre-columbian and folk art as a natural extension of my heritage. I enjoy finding connections between the handiwork of my ancestors, often with spiritual relevance, and calm moments spent in nature.“
